Ok, so how much fun do we have with this baby!! Ninny, Pops, and granny came up last Monday to see our new house and to see sweet baby Reece... and look what we did!! She has no nose, so it is hard for the glasses to stay on her but they did ok!! She is sitting up SO well and starting to pick herself up on her knees... although we only have one direction... backwards:) She will get the hang of it soon... but for now we are enjoying watching her grow day by day!!

I would like to introduce Ryan Barber..... Is he not the cutiest baby boy!! He is 19 months old and comes to see Reece often:) He brought her a flower the other day from school!! How sweet!! His mom, Amanda, and I work together at the clinic and have already married them off!!!!

First time in my high chair!!

Annabelle Reece is getting so big! She is now eating in her highchair and doing really well! She is rolling over and is sitting up by herself somewhat.... Time goes by so quickly... You know you hear your parents say " oh, they grow up so fast", and you just think that they are crazy.... So I guess that now means that I am on the crazy train as well b/c it is sooooo true!!!

This is my grandma, Reece's great grandma, at her house in Monette. Granny has such a wonderful time with her and Reece is crazy about her!! I am so blessed to have my granny in my life and in Reece's life. I love every second of these treasured moments!!

As you all know, this weather has been crazy... snow to a tornado to a massive flood in Batesville. I thought that I would share some photos with everyone. This photo is on the way to work where there should be lots of cattle roaming around!!

Jake is in Texas hunting hogs, so Reece and I went to see Ninny and Pops! We took Reece to the mall for the first time and she had the best time looking around and of course loved shopping! On Sunday we went to church and had our Easter with mom and dad. She did really great in church ( lets only hope this behavior continues)!!

So while we were inside, we played in our Babybjorn and wow did she love it!!! We walked around the house, looked around outside and of course when I took her out she cried :( At this point I am thinking that I have created a monster!! However, we had a little talk and she no longer cries when the ride is over!!

Im a little behind on pics, as well as, giving everyone an update on our life so here we go!!! We had the most beautiful snow at Batesville, so we put Reece in her "teddybear" onesie!!! She loved the snow!!!

Yesterday was a big day for our family... little Annabelle was dedicated to the Lord at mom and dad's church in Paragould and turned 3 months old.! It was wonderful and Bro. Royce did a beautiful job dedicating her; she did not cry and was only a little fussy during the sermon:) Here are a few pictures of us before church, oh and yes they are a little blurry, my camera was cold from being in the car sorry!! :)

Mtn. View Tornado

Front of hospital

Jake, Reece and I went to Mtn. View today to see how bad the tornado was that came through on Feb. 5th. Four days later, it looks as though it came through only minutes before we arrived. In the pictures you will see the hospital, the chevrolet dealership or lack there of, as well as Lori's rig. Maw ( Jakes grandmother) and Lori were in the hospital when it hit but thankfully no one was hurt. There are so many people that have no home and the entire town is out of power for at least another 3 days, so please say a prayer for those who are starting over.

Two Months Old

We are 2 months old and had our first play date/ lunch date with Kara and baby Emma!! We had so much fun, however I am still not use to taking my camera everywhere I go, so I have no pics of all of us :( Nevertheless we went to Cowboys (ymmmm) and then went to the cutest little shop called Charlie's Angels where Kara introduced me to her love for hair bows and bands for the sweet little angels! Of course I jumped on the wagon and bought several hair bows/bands for Reece.

Tomorrow is my first day back to work so say a prayer that I will not cry the entire day being away from the light of my life! I will keep you all posted to let you know how I do. We have a sitter coming to the house, Mrs. Hattie, who will take care of baby Reece. She is a wonderful lady who is a retired LPN and loves kiddos, so I feel really good about going back to work and her being at home safe and sound!

Burt's Bee Baby

Annabelle Reece is getting so big!! She is almost 7 weeks old and is talking up a storm ( but look at her momma; she comes by it honest:) She just had a bath, which she really enjoys now that she can get all the way in the water. This is her straight from the tub and she smells SO GOOD! We use Burt's Bee Baby which makes you want to eat her with a spoon!! For those of you who are expecting soon or in the future, I highly suggest this product for your little angel.!

Although little Reece is here in full swing... daddy Jake has continued his love for hunting deer, turkey and whatever else may walk in front of him while he is in the woods:) This is his most recent trophy that will go in the house ( Im not sure where, but we will cross that bridge when it gets here) :) It is a 10.5" gobbler that he shot with his bow in Mtn. View. Reece and I are very proud!!!

Annabelle Reece Dobbins

In a word.... "Blessed"... That is what my family and I are... very blessed to have been given a beautiful baby girl!!

I would like to introduce the new addition to the Dobbins family... Annabelle Reece!! She was born by C-section on November 24th, 2007 at 11:58 a.m. Yes, I said 2007 and yes it is 2008. However, those of you who know me, know that I am VERY slow when it comes to doing the smallest task on the computer so please forgive me for just now getting our blog up and going:)

I am so excited about being able to share our life with our friends and family, although it would be wonderful to see each of you everyday, this will have to do for now. With the birth and blessing of Reece, I have realized how important each and everyday really is and that there is so much a mother and father want to teach their child..... Most of all, how special she is to all of us who love her. Having said that, I hope all of you enjoy watching Reece grow; and enjoy this amazing life that God has blessed her with....
